Thursday Night - I moved my camper to Look Rock Campground and setup for what ended up being a lonely. I had committed to staying there on this night hoping that the added nights would bring more people. Just as the weekend approached, so did the cancellations. I think the cool weather scared off a few folks.
The campground was almost vacant. Only three other campsites and a Host with a attitude were setup for the night. As it got late, I used the quiet time to make some decisions. Lose 25 lbs. by January 1st and another 25 by March 15th. Refinance my property at a lower interest rate and find a way to buy a New Road King without going into debt.* I feel asleep to the sounds of the night.

Friday - Up early and off to work in my pickup. I returned later that day on the Harley and eventually, the group became Talmadge Blackwell and his son David. They took most of the day to ride over from Charlotte and this was the first time riding with us for David. Don Daniel showed up with Sharon Higgins both from the Detroit area. Judy Morris stopped by but did not stay as she lives nearby. This night we rode down to Victoria's Station and enjoyed a GREAT meal. The ride back to camp was somewhat cool and we turned in early, mainly because of the weather.

Saturday - After breakfast, we rode back into the National Park and to Gatlinburg via Little River Rd. A photo stop was made at the Sinks and a Pit Stop at Metcalf Bottoms. We entered Gatlinburg and headed up the hill to Roaring Fork Motor Trail. Several stops along that road started me to thinking about lunch. Since I had planned to ride out towards Newport, how about Carver's Orchard. Lunch was excellent! We meandered our way back to the camp and ended the day with a few cocktails and a great meal.

Sunday - I feel like I might have screwed up here a little. Don probably told me he was not going home until Monday but I must have not heard him. I would have made other arrangements, but as it stood, I had to tear down camp for commitments on Monday. Talmadge and David headed off fairly early and I left Don and Sharon with some suggestions for rides they could take on their own.
