Lost Sea

DSCN1713 Parking lot at the Lost Sea. Glenn and Audry opted not to go into the caverns with us so they looked around the grounds while we took the tour.

DSCN1729 The Devil's Hole. The guide said several years ago a woman peered into the hole and ran screaming from the caverns. When they caught her she said she had seen the Devil in the hole. Turned out to be Carl the maintenance man changing the light bulbs.
DSCN1734 The only visible spring in the cavern. The others are under the lake.

DSCN1745 Fish in the lake. Fish were originally placed in the lake as an experiment to see if they would appear external to the caverns. They were tagged and released. They never left so the guides feed them on every tour since there is no natural food source. As you can see they eat just fine.
